I have only incuded films that I saw at the general release in the theatre. I have only included films that I chose to write reviews of online. To my mind films such as "Dirty Dancing" - is NOT a musical, but a dancefilm.... In my opinion a musical film contains the old fashion tradition that the protagonists sing and dance to further the story emotionally. Examples; "The Sound of Music", "An American in Paris", "Cabaret".... I have also exluded animated musicals and those I didn`t like - as well as included films with high profile musical segments
